Description

This listing is for a vintage miniature liqueur bottle, identifiable by its small glass bottle with a long neck and molded decoration on the upper part of the spout. The cap is white, with a slightly patinated appearance visible in the photo. The bottle is filled with a dark brown liquid, confirming the presence of the original contents.

The visible side displays an original, oval paper label, in good condition despite some signs of age and handling. The label has several clearly legible inscriptions. It reads: "prunellia" in lowercase letters on a green background, topped with a gold crest, and "CUSENIER" in uppercase on a lower green band. At the bottom, the inscription "liqueur au go…" (the rest of the text is partially obscured or illegible in this image) confirms the nature of the product. The whole clearly suggests a sloe-based liqueur, typical of Cusenier productions from the mid-20th century.

The bottle has a rounded base and compact proportions, characteristic of miniature liquor bottles distributed as samples, promotional items, or bar souvenirs. The appearance of the glass, slightly shiny, reveals some surface irregularities related to age or manufacturing.

The graphic style of the label, as well as the typography used, strongly suggest production dating from the 1960s to 1980s, a period when Cusenier was active in distributing this type of mini-bottle.

The liquid level appears stable and the seal intact, with no visible leaks. No chips or cracks are visible on the glass's visible side.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The label shows signs of wear and aging (patina, small stains, slightly lifted corners). The cap shows signs of age. The contents are still present, but the quality of the liquid is not guaranteed due to its age. Please refer to the photo for the exact appearance of the product.

Did you know? Cusenier, founded in 1868 in Ornans, was one of the great names in French liqueur, famous for its original creations such as Amer Cusenier and Prunellia. Miniatures were often used as promotional items or corporate gifts in bars and hotels, and are now sought after for their decorative and heritage value.
