Visual Description

This antique miniature represents a small bottle of Duval pastis. Visible in the photo, the bottle is made of transparent glass with a slightly greenish tint, filled with a pale yellow liquid. It is sealed with a silver-colored screw cap. The original label, well-preserved despite some age-related wear, features a retro graphic design typical of the mid-20th century, with dark blue, red, and white hues.

On the label, the words "PASTIS DUVAL" appear in large blue letters, topped by the word "PASTIS" in red. Just below, the logo consists of a crest adorned with a red lion, surrounded by decorative flourishes. "MAISON FONDÉE EN 1798 – MARSEILLE" can be read, as well as "45°" indicating the alcohol content, in a red medallion encircled in white. The text "RECETTE ORIGINALE DUVAL" is also visible at the bottom of the label.

The bottle has a slender, cylindrical shape, with rounded shoulders and a narrow neck. No other decoration or inscription is visible on the presented side. The overall aesthetic is retro, reinforced by the typographic style and the label's motifs, characteristic of French spirits from the 1950s to the 1970s.
