Description

This Courvoisier Luxe cognac mini-bottle, known as a "mignonette," features a compact, rounded silhouette, typical of vintage advertising or sample formats. The dark green tinted glass highlights the liquid inside while protecting its contents from light. The visible cap is metallic red, with an original, unopened crimp and surface wear marks, typical of an object that has passed through decades. The rectangular paper label shows visible signs of age: stains, small marks, and natural patina. The inscription "COURVOISIER Luxe COGNAC 40% vol 0,03 l" is clearly distinguishable, accompanied by distribution mentions and an address number in Paris, typical elements of old French productions.

The graphic design of the label, with its sober typographies and golden ornaments, evokes productions from the second half of the 20th century, a period when Courvoisier cognac was frequently offered in smaller formats for gift or promotional use. The inscriptions are clearly legible on the front: "Distribué par Perrier-Jouët – Barton & Guestier, 75442 Paris Cedex 12". Two stars appear under the mention "Luxe," a detail specific to certain historical Courvoisier vintages. The whole presents an authentically vintage look, with a visible patina and dust traces on the glass and label.

The bottle is photographed from the front, placed on a light surface, next to an old decorative element in chiseled metal, which accentuates the retro aspect of the ensemble. No cork or back elements are visible. The liquid level is not explicitly observable in this view, but the bottle remains sealed.

This type of tinted glass mignonette, with its original label and metallic cap, is sought after for its authentic aesthetics and rarity in the market for advertising objects and souvenirs of French alcohol brands. The mention "40% vol" confirms that it is a traditional cognac, while the capacity of 0.03 l (visible on the label) corresponds to a standard miniature format for this type of production.
