Description

This old mechanical wind-up watch features a small round dial with a patinated and very worn appearance. The compact object has a case whose surface shows visible oxidation and marked wear, testifying to long use or prolonged storage. The dial displays raised gold Arabic numerals, clearly visible although some are faded by time. The classic-style hands are still fixed in the center, with the second hand not visible on this side. The winder, placed on the right, is notched and prominently sized compared to the case, typical of old manual wind-up models.

The inscription "EFK" is clearly distinguishable in the center of the dial, as well as the mention "SWISS" or "SUISSE" at the bottom of the face, suggesting a Swiss origin, renowned for the quality of its watch movements. The glass covering the dial appears to be absent or heavily altered, revealing the matte and pitted texture of the background. The whole rests on a white presentation cushion, which highlights the contrast between the grey/green patina of the visible metal and the light background of the staging.

The general style and state of wear suggest a watch from the early to mid-20th century, recognizable by the typography of the numerals and the simplicity of the design.
