Antique pocket watch signed Ch. Wattiez, Reims, with silver-plated case and white enamel dial. A pocket timepiece with a distinctive character, sold as is and in need of servicing.

Description

Mechanical pocket watch with pendant winding mechanism, with bow and fluted crown. The case has a patinated silver finish, with traces of wear and oxidation consistent with its age.

The white enamel dial bears the inscription CH. WATTIEZ REIMS. It features large black Arabic numerals, a peripheral minute track, and a second 24-hour scale in red. The subsidiary seconds dial is located at 6 o'clock. Elaborately shaped black hands.

The mechanical movement is visible when the case is opened, with a gilded plate, exposed gears, and rubies. The piece retains a beautiful decorative and horological presence, despite its used condition.
