Vintage Admira mechanical watch to restore, gold-tone numeral dial

Description

Old mechanical watch of the Admira brand, presented here without a strap, with a round case with a metallic finish visible on the front. The dial shows a marked, light-colored patina, and bears the inscription "ADMIRA" in the upper part. The hour markers are gold applied Arabic numerals, in relief, at each hour, associated with small intermediate markers. The main hands are also gold, dauphine type, and a small independent second hand is positioned at 6 o'clock in a secondary circular sub-dial. The inscription "INCABLOC 15 RUBIS" appears below the central axis, indicating a manual-winding mechanical movement with shock absorber and 15 jewels, characteristic of quality watches from the mid-20th century period.

The case features a smooth bezel and slender lugs, typical of men's wristwatches from the 1950s-1960s. The crown, visible on the right side, has a gold finish. The entire dial shows signs of wear, including marks, visible oxidation, and a uniform tarnishing of the surface, testifying to the watch's age and prior use.

On this visible side, no strap is present, revealing the spring bars for attachment. The domed crystal shows scratches and slight opacification, accentuating the vintage character of the piece. The whole displays a retro aesthetic, with legibility preserved despite the patina.

The watch is photographed on a marbled background, accentuating the contrast with the metallic case and the light dial. No major structural defects are visible on the front, apart from the signs of aging and oxidation already mentioned.

Condition

Used item for restoration, sold as is. Signs of wear include dial patina, scratches on the crystal, case oxidation, and absence of a strap. Functionality not tested.
