Visual Description

This lot features an antique mechanical watch dial, round in shape, whose golden finish immediately catches the eye. The visible surface of the dial boasts a guilloché geometric decoration with a central raised pattern, on which the Arabic numerals 1 to 12 are arranged in raised gold, clearly legible and in a classic style. The center of the dial, marked with a small spindle for hands (not present), displays a fine grid characteristic of early 20th-century productions. The whole is encircled by a golden border, slightly patinated and marked by time.

The dial shows visible signs of wear, including a pronounced patina, traces of oxidation on some parts of the decoration, and some marks or scratches, particularly near the number 4. The overall appearance evokes an antique piece, typical of vintage pocket watches or fob watches. No manufacturer's mark or inscription is visible on the photographed side. The watch is presented resting on a varnished wooden box with decorative metal ornaments, which enhances the vintage aesthetic of the object.

The finish of the dial, with its engraved patterns and raised golden numerals, testifies to traditional watchmaking craftsmanship. The absence of hands, glass, and apparent mechanism indicates that it is a dial alone, intended for restoration, study, or a watch customization project.
