Description

An old mechanical watch of the Kaspar brand, with apparently manual movement, visible in the photo with its rectangular dial. The dial displays the inscription "15 RUBIS", indicating a 15-jewel movement traditionally used in mechanical watchmaking to reduce wear and improve accuracy. The "Kaspar" brand is clearly legible in the center of the dial, just below the 12 o'clock marker.

The dial has a light finish, probably cream or off-white, with applied golden Arabic numerals for the hours. The hands, in a classic style, are also golden and the central shared second hand is absent or not visible. The winding crown is on the right, prominently sized, which is typical of vintage mechanical watches requiring regular manual winding.

The rectangular case with softened and beveled corners features a shiny metallic finish with visible signs of wear, scratches, and patination on the front face and around the edges. Some marks of oxidation or tarnishing are also observable on the case, edges, and dial, confirming its age and the need for restoration. No strap is visible in the photo; only the case and dial are presented.

This model is distinguished by a vintage style typical of the mid-20th century, both simple and functional, with a legible display and a utilitarian aesthetic.
