Description

An antique mechanical watch from the Indus brand, with a Swiss movement, presented here with its characteristic rectangular dial. The dial displays "Indus 15 Jewels" and "SWISS," indicating the origin and type of movement used. The hands are gold-colored, with visible patina and traces of oxidation, typical of an object that has spanned several decades. The hour display is minimalist: only the numbers 12 and 6 are inscribed, the other markers being simple black linear indexes, typical of mid-20th-century watch design.

The square bezel has a silver finish, with visible signs of wear, scratches, and pitting, enhancing the vintage look of the piece. The crown (winder), located on the right, also shows an accentuated patina and some traces of verdigris. The angular case reveals a metallic structure with a worn finish, with coppery reflections in places. No strap is visible in the photo, revealing the side lugs and the inside of the case.
