Description

This lot is for a mechanical watch movement signed CRONES, whose rectangular vintage dial is clearly visible in the photo. The dial has a patinated white finish, with trapezoidal gilt applied hour markers, adding depth to the whole. The hands, also gilt, are baton-style and contrast well with the background. The inscription "INCABLOC 17 JEWELS" is legible below the central axis, indicating a 17-jewel mechanical movement with an Incabloc shock protection system, characteristic of quality watches from the second half of the 20th century.

The dial shows clear signs of wear, including scratches, small stains, and chips visible around the edge, as well as a marked patina on the white surface. The gilt winder, placed on the right, is visible and has a knurled wheel typical of mechanical watches from this period. No complete case, strap, or back is visible: it is a bare movement, as photographed.

The assembly rests on a varnished wooden surface, which highlights the gilt color of the hour markers and winder. The dial has no particular decorative pattern apart from the raised hour markers and the technical and brand inscriptions. No back, internal mechanism, or reverse side is visible in the provided image.

This movement is intended for those looking for an antique watchmaking spare part, or wishing to restore a vintage CRONES watch. The general appearance confirms manufacturing from the 1960s-1970s, typical of Swiss "Incabloc" movements of that era, with a rectilinear and refined style.

The CRONES brand and the inscription "INCABLOC 17 JEWELS" are clearly legible on the front, guaranteeing authenticity for this type of mechanical watchmaking component.
