Description

This vintage mechanical watch movement features a square dial with a patinated appearance, typical of old models from the mid-20th century. The dial displays a white finish, with a matte texture marked by time, and black Arabic numerals painted for each hour. The minute track is underlined by small black dots around the edge. A single tapered, gold-colored hand is visible in the center of the dial, secured by a visible central screw.

The inscription "15 RUBIS" appears at the top of the dial, below the 12 o'clock numeral, indicating the presence of jewels in the movement, a criterion of watchmaking quality. The winding crown, placed on the right, has a classic fluted design for good grip. The edge of the rectangular case with rounded corners shows a pronounced patina and traces of oxidation, revealing prolonged use and the age of the piece.

The case reveals metallic elements in gold and silver, with visible wear, particularly on the lower part and around the winder. The assembly rests on a light textile support, suggesting careful storage. No strap is attached to this movement, allowing the condition of the case and dial to be seen on their upper face.

The general style is reminiscent of mechanical wristwatches from the 1940s to 1960s, with a sober, geometric, and functional aesthetic.
