Description

Old pair of clip-on costume earrings, presented on a baroque-style display case. Each earring consists of two distinct parts: an upper part in the shape of a stylized drop with a patinated brass finish, and a wide, translucent lower part, resembling resin or a milky synthetic material. The overall design combines rounded lines and an organic aesthetic, enhanced by small floral elements or metallic embossed patterns fixed laterally on the upper part. The ensemble exudes a retro style, typical of costume jewelry from the 1970s to 1980s.

The visible side shows a solid structure, with matte and aged metallic finishes, contrasting with the slightly opalescent softness of the lower part. The golden reflections of the metal accentuate the vintage character of the whole. The fasteners are clip-on type, suitable for unpierced ears; it should be noted that one fastener is missing, as visible in the photo.

The earrings feature a harmony of sober colors: gilded/bronzed brass for the metal elements, translucent cream for the dangling part, and silver touches for the small ornaments.
