Description

This lot consists of a vintage children's sewing pattern, published by L'Écho de la Mode, an emblematic title in French women's magazines. The visible side shows a colorful illustration of two little girls wearing A-line dresses, typical of the 1960s style. One is depicted in a dress with puffed short sleeves, adorned with a stylized floral pattern in pink and black tones on a white background, while the other wears a sleeveless version in a solid pink color, both enhanced with a large white bow at the neckline.

The pattern design on the front features a graphic style characteristic of the mid-20th century, with simple lines and a clear layout. Two technical diagrams of the dresses, front and back views, are also printed in the upper right, identifying the A-line cut and back closure. The pattern is preserved in its original sleeve, which bears the mention "Édité par L'Écho de la Mode" at the bottom, as well as a reference number visible at the top right: 83 225 (original label).

The visual appearance of the support indicates slight signs of use: the sleeve shows creases, a small tear in the upper left, and handling marks visible under light. The colors remain vibrant and the graphics perfectly legible. The period printing, typography, and represented clothing style place this pattern in the 1960s, a period associated with the rise of graphic and practical children's fashion.

The cover highlights the versatility of the model, suitable for both a sleeveless summer version and a short-sleeved one. The clean lines, the wide bow collar, and the flared cut recall retro trends, ideal for a creation faithful to the vintage spirit.
