Description

This lot features a vintage sewing pattern from the free weekly supplement "À Femmes d’Aujourd’hui" No. 1389, dated December 15, 1971. The cover displays a black and white photograph of a female model wearing a pussy-bow blouse with long, puffed sleeves gathered at the wrists. The model also wears tailored high-waisted trousers and a wide belt adorned with a visible decorative motif, typical of early 70s fashion.

The pattern is referenced as N°7500 and is indicated for sizes 38N, 44N, 48N (period notation), category C. The inscription also specifies the origin and exact date, unequivocally identifying the item as an authentic period original, ideal for faithfully reproducing retro garments.

The pattern paper appears to be in good general condition on the visible side, with a slight patina and some handling marks along the edge, attesting to its age but without any apparent major damage. The printing is clear and legible, both for the model's photo and for the technical information (number, sizes, category).

The style of the illustrated outfit is emblematic of early 1970s women's fashion, with its voluminous sleeves, pussy-bow collar, and the fitted blouse-and-trousers combination that evokes the elegant and practical trends of that decade. The supplement's layout, typography, and presentation confirm the vintage authenticity of this pattern.

The back and internal content of the pattern are not visible in the photo. Only the cover page is shown, displaying the model's visual and technical references.

Condition

Used item sold as is. Slight patina and visible signs of wear on the page border, with no apparent major defects on the visible side.
