Vintage sewing pattern Neue Mode S 21832, 80s, women's retro coat
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
This lot corresponds to a vintage sewing pattern from the "neue mode" brand, reference S 21832, visible on the cover. It is a multi-size pattern (36-48 / 10-22) for making women's coats or jackets, illustrated with three stylized models in fashion drawings typical of the 80s. The cover shows three distinct proposals: a white double-breasted belted coat with marked shoulder pads, a blue version with a wide collar and pronounced lapels, and a turquoise variant with matching pants and hat. Each silhouette evokes the popular women's clothing style of the late 20th century, with ample cuts, patch pockets, and utilitarian details.
The pattern is presented in its original plastic film, which suggests it is complete and unopened, although this cannot be guaranteed without opening. The illustrations are hand-drawn, faithful to the graphic style of European fashion of the 1980s, with a vibrant color palette (blue, white, turquoise) and accessories such as a belt, scarf, or hat. The "neue mode" logo in red and the mention "MULTISIZE PATTERN" are clearly visible at the top of the pouch, confirming the brand's authenticity. A barcode, as well as recycling symbols, also appear on the front.
The visible side shows no major defects, only slight wear of the plastic film is noticeable on the edges, with no apparent damage to the paper cover. No patterns or handwritten inscriptions are observable on the front. The ensemble offers a very distinctive retro look, typical of sewing patterns intended for the European market in the 1975-1990 period.
This pattern is ideal for making long coats or stylish jackets, with the possibility of variation according to the proposed designs (A, B, C). The design highlights straight lines, wide collars, patch pockets, and belts, characteristic elements of vintage women's fashion. The instructions and pattern pieces are not visible in the photo; only the illustrated pouch is shown.
