Vintage sewing pattern women's coat sizes 38-40-42 Pattern of Paris old retro
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
This lot corresponds to a vintage women's coat sewing pattern, published by "Patron de Paris," reference 8521 e, visible in the upper left corner of the envelope. The visual features two stylized illustrations of long women's coats, each with a loose fit and a wide collar, characteristic of the late 1970s-early 1980s style. The envelope indicates sizes 38, 40, and 42, mentioned in the upper right. The depicted models (A and B) suggest variations in finishes, with or without contrasting topstitching, and different accessories (hood, scarf, bag). The drawings are printed in color on the envelope, with a dominant beige for model A and brown for model B.
The pattern is contained in a large illustrated envelope, showing a visibly vintage appearance with signs of handling and marked wear, including folds, creases, and a tear in the bottom left. A sticker pasted at the bottom indicates "ÉDITÉ PAR EDIPAC 75019 PARIS" as well as an edition number. The pattern pieces and instructions are not visible in this photo; only the illustrated envelope is shown.
The packaging graphics, illustrated garments, and typography clearly evoke the fashion and aesthetics of the 1970s, which is consistent with the "vintage" and "antique" keywords. The envelope also features a small technical diagram in the bottom right, showing the coat's silhouette in a simple view, typical of sewing patterns from that era.
The illustrations show precise details: raglan sleeves, large patch pockets, topstitching on the brown model, and yokes that recall late 20th-century fashion trends. The overall appearance of the pattern and its packaging confirms that it is a retro sewing item, intended for making loose and elegant women's clothing.
