Description

This lot corresponds to a vintage sewing pattern from the brand "Patron de Paris", reference 10790, for children's blouses. The visible side of the envelope features two color illustrations: one (model A) shows a young girl wearing a blue checkered blouse with a stand-up collar and bow, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs; the other (model B) shows a white long-sleeved blouse, classic collar, paired with a striped tie and a navy blue pleated skirt. Two black and white technical diagrams detail the cut and finishes of the blouse, visible under each main illustration.

The mention "Femme Pratique" (Practical Woman) appears at the top of the pouch, indicating that it is a pattern published for a family audience, oriented towards home sewing. The sizes indicated are 8, 10, and 12 years. The graphics, typography, and clothing style clearly evoke a 1970s production, typical of French sewing patterns from that period.

The original envelope, kept in a plastic sleeve, has a slightly patinated appearance consistent with a used item. The colors of the visual are well preserved, with dominant shades of blue, white, and beige. No major defects are visible on the front, apart from a few folds and signs of wear on the protective plastic. The instructions and pattern pieces are not visible in this photo.

The indications "Also available in 2-4-6 years No. 10789" and "Femme Pratique" are clearly printed in the upper right, confirming the specificity of the children's model and the consistency of the series. The ensemble evokes a retro style, both elegant and functional, characteristic of 1970s children's fashion.

Condition

This sewing pattern is used and sold as is, with its original pouch visible in the photo. The envelope shows some signs of wear and tear from use, mainly on the plastic protection, but the illustration remains clear and legible.

Did you know? "Patron de Paris" patterns were very popular in France during the 1960s-1970s. They accompanied many needlework magazines, allowing families to create at home clothes inspired by urban or school fashion, adapted to the trends of their time.
