Description

This antique round pendant features a traditional Moroccan aesthetic, typical of Berber craftsmanship. The object is openwork at its ends with two large opposing circular eyelets, intended for suspension or integration into a necklace or ornament. The center of the medallion is adorned with an inscription in stylized Arabic characters, clearly incorporating the number "1315" (probably a date from the Hegirian calendar), surrounded by a relief decoration. The entire pendant displays apparent chiseling work, with a beaded outline and regular patterns across the visible surface.

The finish of the pendant evokes a silvery metallic appearance, with a discreet patina revealing darker shades in the hollows of the decor. The piece shows homogeneous signs of wear, testifying to its age and authenticity. The edges are slightly irregular, typical of traditional craftsmanship.

The visible side presents a complete decoration, without any manufacturing marks or apparent signature. The central inscription, encircled by a peripheral motif, enhances the symbolic or protective character of the object, common in Moroccan Berber jewelry.
