Description

This communion medal pendant features a classic round shape, with finely crafted relief depicting the Virgin and Child. The central scene shows the crowned Virgin holding the Infant Jesus in her arms, surrounded by two stylized angels on each side. The entire medal displays a matte patina with light reflections, typical of silvered bronze finishes, as indicated by the keywords. The surface shows a slightly satin effect and some discreet signs of wear, testifying to its age.

On the visible side, the signature "RUFFONY" is clearly distinguishable on the right, the signature of a manufacturer known for their religious creations, as well as the inscription "GD" on the left, which could correspond to a hallmark or an abbreviation of a workshop. The suspension ring, integral with the medal, has a rounded cross-section and allows for easy wearing on a chain or cord.
