This religious pendant depicts the famous Miraculous Medal, a classic of Catholic jewelry. Oval in shape, it features a raised figure of the Virgin Mary with open arms, surrounded by the inscription in French: "Ô MARIE CONÇUE SANS PÉCHÉ PRIEZ POUR NOUS QUI AVONS RECOURS À VOUS" (O MARY CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE) as well as the date "1830" at the bottom of the design. The slightly patinated background highlights the modeled details, typical of pious medals produced for daily wear or during pilgrimages.

The piece has a suspension ring integrated into the mass, allowing it to be worn as a pendant on a chain or cord. The front surface shows a homogeneous patina, indicative of ancient use.
