Description
This antique Catholic religious pendant has a slightly irregular oval shape, with an integrated bail allowing it to be easily worn as a necklace. The visible side features a detailed relief depicting the Virgin Mary standing, with arms open, surrounded by a crown of small stars in an arc above her head. The entire design is in slight relief, accentuating the folds of her robe and the protective posture of the Virgin. The outline of the medal is highlighted by a finely striated border, adding contrast and depth to the whole.

The surface has a matte patina, characteristic of vintage metal religious objects, with slight signs of wear visible in places. The dominant hue is a silvery-grey, typical of non-precious alloys used for this type of devotional medal. A discreet monogram or hallmark is visible on the left side of the motif, under the Virgin's arm, adding an extra touch of authenticity.
