Description This religious pendant features the Virgin Mary in relief, visible on a round, gold-finished medal. The figure of the Virgin, with her head covered by a veil and holding roses, is finely carved on the front, giving the jewel a spiritual and traditional dimension. The frame of the medallion is openwork with a regular geometric pattern, adding an extra decorative touch to the whole.

The surface of the pendant has a brilliant gilding, typical of gold-plated jewelry, with some traces of oxidation and wear visible around the perimeter of the medallion and on the figure itself. The trapezoidal bail is solidly attached and allows the pendant to be hung on a chain or ribbon.

The object is photographed resting on a wooden box with a gold decoration, which highlights the warm and luminous hue of the gilding. No text or hallmark is visible on the front of the medal.
