Description

This vintage pendant depicts two intertwined figures in a tender or affectionate pose, typical of the figurative style of the 1970s. The design features a stylized couple, whose silhouettes are outlined by an embossed, metallic-looking contour. The decoration is enhanced by brightly colored enameled areas: vivid blue for the flared trousers of the figure on the left, red and yellow for the tops, black for the trousers of the figure on the right, and orange for the hair tied in a ponytail. The overall aesthetic is pop and graphic, a signature of costume jewelry from that era.

The visible side of the pendant has a smooth surface, punctuated by slight irregularities in the enamel, highlighting the artisanal or semi-artisanal manufacture of the object. The motif is surrounded by a silver-colored fillet, which clearly separates each color zone. The loop at the top of the pendant is integrated into the contour and allows it to be easily suspended from a chain or cord, for wearing around the neck.
