Description

This antique pendant features a stylized cross shape, composed of five raised floral motifs arranged symmetrically. Each motif, evoking a multi-petaled flower, is adorned in its center with a small protruding ball. The ensemble has a massive and textured appearance, with a gilded and patinated finish that accentuates the volumes. The bail, placed on one side, allows for easy suspension on a chain or cord.

The surface of the pendant shows characteristic molding work of 1950s costume jewelry, with a deliberately irregular and artisanal rendering. The reliefs are well-defined, highlighting the retro style and giving the whole a strong ornamental character. The gilding has warm hues, typical of the alloys used in costume jewelry of that period.
