Description

This antique pendant features a stylized mouse, sitting and holding a bouquet of flowers against its belly. It is a golden-toned metal piece, typical of 1950s costume jewelry, as suggested by the matte and slightly patinated finish. The head is topped with a large circular bail, allowing it to be worn on a chain or cord. The rounded ears, prominent snout, and large round eyes are treated in a naive style, giving the piece a distinct retro charm.

The item has a full form, with deliberately irregular contours, characteristic of artisanal or semi-industrial productions of the period. The pendant's surface displays metallic reflections, with a visible patina on the raised areas, particularly around the ears and snout.
