Rare antique hand auger drill, typical of late 19th or early 20th century artisan tools, as shown in the photo. This tool features an elongated, robust shape, with a helical shaft and wide spiral, characteristic of traditional hand augers used for drilling wood. The cylindrical, slightly bulging handle has a two-tone finish: a dark wood-like central section, flanked by metal parts at each end. A riveted metal plate on the handle bears the inscription "S. GRANIER GARANTI" (clearly visible in the photo), attesting to its authenticity and professional origin.

The drill head is equipped with a polished metal tip, while the lower end of the shaft terminates in a metal ring, likely intended to facilitate hanging or storage of the tool. The helical spiral, of constant diameter, shows a uniform dark patina, reflecting the object's age and use, but with no major visible corrosion in the photo.

The wood's appearance shows natural wear, with a smooth surface and some marks of use, typical of old hand-held tools.
