Description Flag-shaped pin, depicting the flag of the State of Vermont (United States). The piece has a wavy shape evoking a fluttering flag, with a metallic-looking border highlighting the outline. The entire field is covered in deep blue enamel. In the center, the Vermont coat of arms is faithfully represented in shades of green, white, and gold, with fine details: stylized mountain, deer, and plant elements. The enameled finish gives the surface a beautiful smooth and shiny luster, typical of American commemorative or tourist badges.

The front of the pin shows a clean execution, with no visible accumulation of major defects. The contours and the central motif remain sharp, with a slight patina on the border, evoking an antique or vintage object. No manufacturer's markings or period indications are visible on the front face.

The presentation, on a wooden background and with a sunset in the background, highlights the intense blue of the enamel and the metallic reflections of the edge. The object is photographed only from the front, with no indication of the attachment system or the back.

This pin is a typical decorative badge for travel souvenirs or events related to the history or culture of the United States. It can also be sought after for its faithful representation of the Vermont flag, identifiable by its distinctive motifs.

The shades of blue, green, white, and gold provide a harmonious contrast and good readability of the motif, even on a reduced format. The whole evokes a vintage style, probably from the second half of the 20th century, without it being possible to specify the manufacturing period further.

Condition Used item, sold as is. Some light traces of patina or micro-scratches visible in the light on the enamel and the border. The whole remains in good general visual condition for an object of this type and period.

Did you know? The Vermont flag features the state coat of arms, officially adopted in 1923. It highlights the Green Mountains, a deer, and a pine tree, symbols of Vermont's nature and resources, while the blue recalls its belonging to the American Union.
