Description

This antique pin features an iconic scene from the Netherlands, combining a green windmill and two characters in traditional Dutch costumes. The female character wears a blue dress and a white headdress, while the male character is dressed in a red jacket, black trousers, and a dark hat. The whole is highlighted by a golden outline and bright blocks of color, typical of late 20th-century enamel pins.

The inscription "MADURODAM" appears in red letters at the bottom, above a frieze of gray silhouettes. Below, the mention "DEN HAAG – HOLLAND" is clearly legible on a white background. The object has an irregular shape, cut to follow the contours of the design, which enhances its decorative and tourist souvenir aspect.

The surface of the pin shows a glossy finish, with a colorful enamel effect that highlights the details of the design. The colors are well preserved and contrasted, and the golden outline adds an extra touch of brilliance. No traces of rust or oxidation are visible on the front.
