Description

Advertising pin from the Cacharel brand, "La Chemiserie" model, presented in a burgundy velvet-surfaced case. This antique pin has a vertical rectangular shape, with an upper part evoking the collar of a stylized shirt. The decoration, with a golden appearance on a dark background, highlights stylized floral motifs typical of the Cacharel universe, as well as the inscription "LA CHEMISERIE Cacharel" perfectly legible in two distinct lines.

The finish presents an elegant contrast between the golden lines and the dark base, giving the whole a refined and timeless look. The graphic design seems characteristic of high-end advertising creations from the late 20th century, with detailed work in the floral pattern and typography faithful to the brand's visual identity during that period.

The visible surface of the pin shows no major chips or deep scratches, but there are some micro-traces consistent with light handling. The pin is photographed in a case that is not branded, but whose velvet texture enhances the piece. No attachment system or inscription on the back is visible in the provided photo.

This advertising badge is an emblematic promotional item, sought after for its direct link with the Cacharel house, famous for its floral motifs and textile creations. The entire front face is in a retro style, typical of the brand's advertising campaigns during the 1980s-1990s, although the exact decade cannot be confirmed without further evidence.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Front surface in good overall condition, with slight superficial wear visible in the photo. Presented in an unbranded case.

Did you know? Founded in 1958 in Nîmes by Jean Bousquet, the Cacharel house established itself in the 1970s and 1980s as a benchmark in women's ready-to-wear, notably thanks to its blouses with distinctive floral motifs. The brand's advertising objects, such as this pin, demonstrate the importance of merchandising in spreading the Cacharel image internationally.
