Description

Crown-shaped pin, vintage style, shown in the front photo. This pin features a stylized crown silhouette, highlighted by a shiny golden outline that emphasizes its relief. The main surface is covered with a cream or ivory colored enamel, contrasting with colorful geometric patterns: two red diamonds and two green dots, symmetrically distributed on the visible side. The patterns are inlaid into the mass, delimited by golden lines, typical of the cloisonné technique on gilded metal. The whole evokes a festive decor, inspired by royal iconography or "galette des rois" insignias.

The crown's structure is distinguished by five raised points, each with a rounded base, giving the object both a classic and decorative appearance. The enamel finish is smooth, with a shiny appearance that reflects light. The colors are vibrant and well-preserved, with no visible signs of major alteration on the exposed side. No logo, text, or brand is visible on the front.

The back of the pin is not visible in the photo; only a part of the golden attachment system (probably butterfly clutch) appears in the background, confirming that it is indeed a metal-fastening pin.

The golden outlines and graphic style suggest a manufacturing date from the late 20th century, typical of promotional or commemorative pins distributed in France in the 1980s-1990s, although a precise date cannot be guaranteed.

This decorative badge, with its design evoking royalty and vibrant colors, can be worn on a jacket, a bag, or displayed in a showcase dedicated to retro objects.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The visible side shows good overall preservation, with no apparent chips or major scratches. The enamel and gilding show a beautiful shine. The attachment system is not fully visible in the photo.

Did you know? Enamel pins, very popular in France in the 80s-90s, often used the cloisonné or cold enamel technique to achieve vibrant and durable colors. They were frequently used for promoting events, brands, or as commemorative objects.
