Description

An old advertising plaque from a Nestlé condensed milk transport crate. This rectangular plaque is made of wood, as indicated by the keywords and the visible grain. The presented side shows an advertising inscription in partially faded red letters: "LAIT NESTLÉ" at the top, followed by a barely legible central line ("ENTRE S..."), then a clear lower mention: "PRÉPARÉ EN FRANCE" (Prepared in France).

The wood shows a pronounced patina of use, with visible traces of old staples or nails on the upper part, confirming its origin from a crate or industrial packaging from the early 20th century. The advertising print, typical of the first half of the 20th century, uses a sans-serif typeface, characteristic of the 1900-1930s. The color of the wood ranges from light tones to darker marks, attesting to its age and original use.

The plaque is flat, without superfluous decoration, and retains a raw appearance, enhanced by the irregular discoloration of the advertising text.
