Description

Original Italian 45 rpm vinyl sleeve, typical of popular production from the 1960s to 1970s, as seen in the photo. On the front, there is a stylized illustration of a couple in ball attire, dancing, in the upper right. The main title "Canti e musiche per tutte le età" is printed in blue, associated with the mention "su dischi e cassette". Several musical categories are indicated in capital letters: "Canti Alpini", "Canti Popolari", "Ballabili", "Campagnoli". A drawing of an alpine hat with a feather, a symbol of Italian alpine songs, adorns the lower left part, while a stylized musical staff appears in the lower right. The whole is printed on an off-white background, with a dominant blue and burgundy for the texts and illustrations.

The sleeve has a central circular opening, characteristic of generic 45 rpm sleeves, revealing the record label (not present or not visible here). No vinyl is visible in the photo. The edges of the sleeve are slightly curved, with no apparent tears on the exposed side. The printing highlights a simple and retro graphic aesthetic, with elements typical of popular Italian publishing from the second half of the 20th century.

The graphic style clearly evokes the vintage period, with minimalist illustrations and geometric typographies, very popular in musical editions of the 60s/70s in Italy. The sleeve targets a repertoire of traditional and festive music, as indicated by the mentions "popular", "alpine", "danceable" and "country".

The visible surface shows some signs of handling and a slight crease in the lower left corner, with no other major apparent defects. The back and edges are not visible in the photo, no additional information can be given about these parts.

Did you know? "Canti Alpini" refers to a genre of traditional Italian songs originally performed by Alpine troops. These often polyphonic songs reflect mountain life and the history of Italy's Alpine regions. Generic illustrated sleeves were common in the 60s and 70s for 45 rpm records distributed by small regional labels.
