Description

This antique card holder has a rectangular shape with right angles, with a visual finish reminiscent of patinated bronze. The top surface, the only side visible in the image, is adorned with an elegant engraved decoration representing two stylized fish, surrounded by undulating plant motifs and bubbles, in a style reminiscent of Art Deco or a Far Eastern influence. The fine and regular engraving highlights the artisanal quality of the object, while the slightly raised peripheral frame accentuates the depth effect.

The main motif, centered on the face, highlights two richly detailed fish, whose fins and scales are finely emphasized by incised lines. The decorative elements surrounding them, composed of plant forms and curves, create a harmonious and dynamic composition. The visible patina on the surface suggests natural aging, reinforcing the authentic charm of this vintage accessory.

The box has an outer edge with a double fillet, adding a discreet touch of sophistication.
