Description

This vintage advertising keychain features a round medal bearing the likeness of the famous "Père Magloire" character, iconic for the Calvados of the same name. The visible side shows a detailed relief depicting a smiling face wearing a striped cap, accompanied by a tied scarf. The embossed inscription "CALVADOS PÈRE MAGLOIRE" surrounds the portrait, testifying to its promotional use for the Norman spirits brand.

The keychain consists of a medal with a patinated metallic appearance, suspended from a small two-link chain, which is itself connected to a split ring and a side-opening carabiner-type clasp. The whole ensemble displays an aged bronze finish, typical of promotional items from the mid to late 20th century. The relief work on the medal is precise, with marked details on the facial features, cap, and scarf.
