Vintage Vogue Records Antoine keychain retro translucent triangle
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
Old triangular advertising keychain, featuring a slightly satin translucent finish. In the center, a round insert displays a handwritten pink inscription on a white background: "Je fais ce que je pense et je vis comme je veux - Antoine" (I do what I think and live as I please - Antoine), followed by "disques vogue". The typography and graphics are typical of promotional items from the 1960-1970s, a period during which record labels used this type of medium to promote their star artists.
The keychain consists of a silver-finish metal ring, connected to the main part by a sturdy attachment. The overall appearance is retro, with a main case made of translucent plastic, whose transparency reveals the thickness and solidity of the object. The visible side has no superfluous decoration, highlighting the promotional message and the brand.
The surface shows some signs of wear and micro-scratches, indicating past use, without altering the legibility of the inscription or the structural integrity of the keychain. The central print remains clear and well-centered, with the "disques vogue" logo perfectly identifiable, as well as the signature "Antoine", a figure of French chanson of that era.
This keychain stands out for its atypical triangular shape, rare among common advertising objects, and its graphic design characteristic of the French music scene of the mid-20th century. The whole evokes a vintage accessory, both utilitarian and a testament to a promotional campaign for the Disques Vogue label and the artist Antoine.

Did you know? The Disques Vogue label, founded in 1947 in France, was one of the largest publishers of popular and yéyé music in the 60s-70s. Antoine, whose real name is Pierre Antoine Muraccioli, made his mark on the French music scene with his unconventional lyrics, including the song "Je fais ce que je veux" which became emblematic of his generation.
