Vintage Retro Provence Radiator Advertising Keychain, Antique Accessory
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
Period advertising keychain, designed in a retro style typical of promotional items from the mid to late 20th century. The object has a triangular shape with rounded corners, with a front face covered by a red-backed disc featuring a radiator illustration and several inscriptions. The main text, in white handwritten script, reads: "Radiateur à accumulation" (Storage Heater). Below, a stylized visual of a radiator is accompanied by the inscription "PROVENCE" in white capital letters.
The main part of the keychain has a matte, metallic-looking finish, with visible signs of wear on the surface, including some scratches and marks related to use. The central disc is well-centered, the graphic being originally for advertising purposes, characteristic of heating appliance manufacturers' promotional campaigns during that period.
The large keychain ring shows a marked patina and traces of oxidation, indicating its age. The bail and suspension link are clearly visible and functional, although they also bear signs of wear. The ensemble gives off an authentic look, typical of vintage advertising accessories.
The visible side does not feature any other identifiable inscription or logo, apart from the elements mentioned. No specific material details are explicitly legible, but the object has a metallic appearance on the main element and a paper or cardboard insert protected by a transparent layer on the central disc.
This keychain is a classic example of a promotional accessory distributed by radiator or heating equipment brands in the 1970s-1980s, with graphics and typography characteristic of that period.
