Visual Description

This vintage-looking keychain is presented with its original cardboard backing, marked "DGA - Direction des Centres d’Expertise et d’Essais - Centre d’Essais de la Méditerranée" under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence. The keychain consists of a round medallion with a metallic finish, attached to a visible ring at the top.

The medallion features a stylized graphic motif in relief, depicting a rising sun over the sea, accompanied by a line evoking an upward trajectory, typical of aerospace or military imagery. The inscription "CENTRE D'ESSAIS DE LA MEDITERRANEE" encircles the top and bottom of the medallion, highlighting its affiliation with the DGA (French Armament General Directorate).

The back of the medallion is not visible in the photo. The visible front presents a smooth surface with metallic reflections, without apparent coloring, with a brushed or satin effect depending on the light.

The presentation card, white with blue lettering, bears the stylized DGA logo, as well as the mention "MINISTÈRE DE LA DÉFENSE" at the top. The whole suggests an official production, probably reserved for institutional or commemorative use.

The compact and circular shape of the medallion, associated with the typography and graphics, suggests a manufacturing from the 80s to 90s, typical of administrative design of that period.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Some traces of wear or micro-scratches may be observed on the metallic surface of the medallion, consistent with moderate use. The presentation card shows slight handling marks.
