This old promotional keychain features a silver metal ring connected to a circular pendant. The round, domed medallion is made of transparent plastic, revealing a central disc with a beige-yellow background. The visible inscription, printed in green and in capital letters, reads "le Tartare". Other, more discreet and partially visible mentions specify "FROMAGE A L’AIL ET AUX FINES HERBES" (GARLIC AND HERB CHEESE). The whole clearly evokes an advertisement for the Le Tartare cheese brand, typical of French advertising design from the 1970s.

The surface of the medallion shows some signs of use, including a small crack or chip on the lower right edge, without compromising the integrity of the object. The transparent plastic shows a uniform patina, indicating natural aging, while the visible side of the metal ring appears shiny and without apparent oxidation.

The typography and graphics, as well as the choice of sober colors (green on a light background), are characteristic of advertising objects from the late 20th century. The keychain is mounted on a simple link chain, directly connected to the ring, allowing for easy attachment to keychains or bags.

The central disc appears to be inserted into the molded plastic, giving the whole a robust appearance and good readability of the advertising message. No other decoration, logo, or pattern is visible on the shown side.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Small crack on the edge of the medallion and visible signs of use on the plastic surface. The print remains legible. Metal ring in good apparent condition.
