Visual description

This old advertising keyring has a triangular shape with rounded corners, and a metal suspension with a large ring and chain. In the center of the visible side, it displays a circular insert protected under a transparent, plastic-like surface. The insert features the famous "mère picon" brand name inscribed in white on a blue triangular background, accompanied by a colorful drawing of a woman in a white apron, carrying a jug, typical of retro dairy imagery. All around, one can read the words "au lait pur" (pure milk) and "des alpes" (from the Alps), characteristic of the brand's advertising slogans at the time.

The overall graphics, as well as the typography and illustration, clearly evoke the style of the 1970s. The transparent surface shows a slight patina of use, typical of vintage keyrings. The whole is mounted on a metal ring with the characteristic shape of old fasteners, reinforcing the object's retro aesthetic.

The front of the keyring, visible in the photo, shows no major apparent defects: the transparent surface shows slight wear, with no deep scratches or visible cracks. The colors of the logo remain vibrant, with a well-saturated blue and a white slightly patinated by time. The illustration of "mère Picon" is clear and recognizable, a visual signature of the brand.

The unusual triangular design allows for a good grip and highlights the central advertising insert. The metal clasp has a shiny finish, with slight oxidation visible on some links, without altering the object's functional integrity.

This type of keyring was often distributed as a promotional item by food brands in the 70s, to ensure their daily visibility with consumers. The object perfectly reflects the retro advertising aesthetic associated with the dairy world and the Mère Picon brand.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Slight traces of wear visible on the transparent surface and the metallic part, with no major structural defects. The inscriptions and logo remain clearly legible.
