Description

Decorative radio in the shape of a gas pump, visible model in its original display box. The object features a cylindrical silhouette reminiscent of old American fuel pumps, with a bright yellow finish over the entire visible surface. On the front, a round decorative dial is placed in the center, topped by a circular grille serving as a speaker. A molded hose, of the same color, snakes along the right side of the pump, adding to the realism of the design.

The front is adorned with several graphic elements, including a central automotive-themed sticker, on which a yellow car and the words "HI-SPEED GASOLINE" are visible in retro lettering, characteristic of the advertising style of the 50s-60s. Below, an English label states "FOR USE AS A MOTOR FUEL ONLY. CONTAINS LEAD (TETRAETHYL)", faithfully replicating the style of period warnings on real gas pumps.

The original box, blue with a transparent window, displays the word "RADIO" in red at the top and a yellow "FM" sticker, indicating that the device receives the FM band. The edges of the box show several signs of wear, scratches, and handling marks, typical of an old object or one that has been in storage for a long time. The plastic of the window shows signs of tarnishing and small scratches, without preventing good visibility of the object inside.

The overall style of this radio reproduces both the aesthetic of vintage American gas pumps and the "retro" spirit of decorative objects from the 80s, a period when this type of novelty radio was popular. No mechanism or adjustment buttons are visible on the front; the functional part of the radio is therefore not visible in this view.

The visible inscriptions and details (Frontier, Hi-Speed Gasoline, Contains Lead) as well as the characteristic shape make this radio a typical decorative object of retro creations inspired by American automobiles and old service stations.

Used item, sold as is. Visible wear on the box (scuffs, marked corners, tarnished plastic window). The object inside appears in good visual condition, with no apparent missing parts on the visible side. Contractual photos.
