Vintage Radiola radio with original box, rare old retro design
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
Portable radio of the Radiola brand, presented in its original box, visible in the photo. The device features a rectangular design typical of the retro style, with a front combining a black area (probably the speaker grille) and a large vertical dial on the right, displaying a detailed frequency scale in white and orange on a black background. The upper part reveals three dark controls and a round opening, characteristic of portable models from the second half of the 20th century.
The original box, clearly visible, is silver-colored with a large red circle allowing the radio to be seen through a window. The inscription "Radiola" is legible at the top left of the box, while a partial "IC" lettering appears on the right, suggesting a transistor model (a typical element of the 60s-70s). The whole evokes an authentically vintage object, both by its graphics and by the presentation of the packaging.
The radio, as visible in the box image, presents a contrast of sober colors: main black front, light side and top, with black and orange details on the dial. The overall appearance is rectilinear, with an integrated handle on the top edge, practical for transport. The aesthetics clearly evoke the retro period, with clean lines and ergonomics designed for everyday use.
The box shows visible signs of wear: folds, crumpled corners and marked surface, signs of prolonged storage but also of a relative preservation of the period object. No details of the back or interior are visible, only the front of the box and the representation of the radio are observable.
This Radiola radio is a fine example of vintage leisure electronics, sought after for its retro aesthetic and original presentation. The visual of the box, with its round window, highlights the design of the device and its authenticity.
