Description

This Mirage mechanical alarm clock features a classic twin-bell design, typical of travel or bedside models produced in West Germany from the 1960s to 1970s. The front face boasts a richly decorated dial in golden tones, with a central ornamental motif and clearly legible Roman numerals against a white background, surrounded by green luminous markers. The name "MIRAGE" is clearly visible in the center of the dial, along with the inscription "WEST GERMANY" at the bottom, attesting to its geographical origin and manufacturing period.

The visible structure of the alarm clock has a golden finish with coppery reflections, with traces of oxidation and wear that indicate its age. The two metal bells on top, associated with the central hammer, indicate the presence of a traditional mechanical alarm. The black openwork hands with a lozenge motif accentuate the overall vintage aesthetic, while the second hand is absent or not visible on this face.

The alarm clock rests on a conical golden metal foot, visible on the front right, which ensures its stability. The ensemble is presented on a burgundy red fabric, highlighting the object's patina. The dial's glass shows some signs of age, without affecting the readability of the time indications.
