Description

Mechanical table alarm clock from the Jaz brand, of antique origin, visible in the photo in a condition requiring restoration. The casing features a patinated metallic finish, with traces of oxidation and generalized wear that give it an authentic, retro character. The alarm clock's shape is round, classic of Jaz productions from the mid-20th century, resting on two small spherical feet visible at the front.

The dial displays large, clear black Arabic numerals on a white background slightly yellowed by time. The hands, skeletonized for the hour and solid for the minute, are black, as are the slender seconds hand and the alarm hand. A small secondary dial for setting the alarm is located below the number 12. The word "JAZ" is printed in capital letters below the central axis.

The upper cylindrical adjustment knob is clearly visible at the top of the alarm clock. The bezel and casing show pitting, rust marks, and areas of alteration, signs of prolonged use and exposure to ambient air, typical of old table alarm clocks. The glass appears to be in place, though slightly cloudy or dirty, with no visible chips on this side.

This Jaz alarm clock has a strong vintage aesthetic and a beautiful patina, ideal for restoration or for a decorative display in a retro-style interior. The entire mechanism, dial, and visible details evoke the robustness and utilitarian design of French-made alarm clocks from the 20th century.
