Description

Mechanical alarm clock from the SAMY brand, presented here in a unique circular design. The dial features a cream-colored patinated background, surrounded by a bezel with a shiny metallic appearance. The whole is set in a large, brown leather-look surround, stitched all around, offering a retro aesthetic characteristic of the mid-20th century. The Arabic numerals are clearly legible, accompanied by a peripheral minute track and original black hands, typical of old alarm clocks.

The winding crown is visible on the upper part, integrated into the cut-out of the surround. The dial bears the inscription SAMY in the center, with no other visible markings. The object is placed on a display stand, highlighting its compact format and classic style. The surface of the surround shows slight signs of wear, visible in the photo, testifying to its vintage authenticity.

The leather-look outline, with visible topstitching, evokes the artisanal or semi-industrial productions of the 1940s to 1950s.
