This document is an original copy of the monthly magazine Cahiers du Communisme, issue number 13, dated December 1945. It is an official publication of the Central Committee of the French Communist Party (PCF), identifiable by its typical 1940s cover, with a sober layout and a title printed in large capital letters. The cover features matte, slightly yellowed paper, with several visible moisture stains on the lower and left side. The black print remains clearly legible despite the wear and tear of time.

The visible side of the magazine shows the table of contents in print, listing authors such as Jacques Duclos, Roger Garaudy, Marcel Cachin, and Florimond Bonte, major figures of the PCF after the war. Paul Vaillant-Couturier's epigraph is noted: "Communism is the youth of the world." The mention "Nouvelle série N°13" (New Series No. 13) and the date "Décembre 1945" (December 1945) precisely place this issue in the context of the Liberation and French political reconstruction.

The observable format corresponds to that of a stapled notebook or brochure, with no pagination indicated on the cover. The document is printed on period paper, recognizable by its slightly fibrous texture and aged cream tint. The corners are blunted, the top edge slightly curved, testifying to old handling. On the left side, the handwritten mention "B.B." is visible in pencil.

The cover also provides information on the original price ("15 francs") and the editorial address ("44, rue Le Peletier, Paris (9e)"). No spine or back is visible in the photo. The background, composed of an old bookcase, highlights the historical aspect of the magazine without providing additional clues about the internal content.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Numerous moisture marks and handling marks visible on the cover. The paper shows yellowing characteristic of period prints. General wear consistent with a document from the late 1940s.
