Description

This Vivanco Ethernet switch is a vintage model designed for home or professional computer networks. It is a 5-port 10/100 Mbps switch, identifiable by its blue and black front panel featuring indicator lights numbered 1 to 5, as well as a POWER LED and a LINK/ACT LED. The "AUTO MDI/MDIX" inscription indicates automatic management of network cable crossover, a practical feature for local networks of that era.

The casing has a compact rectangular shape, with rounded corners and a top surface punctuated by small openings, likely for ventilation. The front face, visible in the photo, clearly displays the Vivanco brand on the right, as well as the mention "5 Ports 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Switch" on the left.
