Description

This old phone card, commonly called a "Télécarte," features a visual presentation characteristic of French models from the 1990s. On the front, the card displays a rural landscape, with a country scene composed of trees with autumnal foliage in orange and green tones, stretching over rolling terrain under a clear blue sky. A bucolic panorama occupies the entire card, evoking the tranquility of France's agricultural regions.

In the upper left, the golden electronic chip, typical of smart phone cards, is clearly visible, highlighting the technological nature of this generation of cards. To the left of the chip is a white directional pictogram, while in the lower left, the inscription "Télécarte 120" indicates the card's capacity, equivalent to 120 communication units. The print is clear, with no apparent defects on this side.

The card's visual appeal is distinguished by the subtlety of its autumnal colors and a carefully composed photograph, making it a sought-after item for its both utilitarian and decorative aspects. The surface has a smooth, glossy appearance, typical of laminated cards from that era.

The whole is framed by straight edges, with rounded corners, in the classic telecommunications format. No brand logo or date is legible on this side, but the mention "Télécarte" attests to the French origin and the postal or telephone purpose of the object.

The card is photographed on an orange-yellow textile background, which highlights the richness of the autumnal hues of the motif. No major defects, scratches or signs of wear are noticeable on the visible side of the card, which maintains a very good overall appearance.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The photographed side is in very good visual condition, with no significant signs of wear.

Did you know? French smart phone cards, introduced in the 1980s, marked the history of telecommunications by gradually replacing telephone tokens. 120-unit models were commonly used in public phone booths until the early 2000s, before the massive advent of mobile phones.
