Description

Chip-based phone card, "Télécarte" type, promotional edition visible in the photo, with a distinctive design. The front features a matte red background, enhanced by a Citroën car visual (model illustrated at the bottom right, probably a Citroën XM, typical of the 1990s). The text "Cette Télécarte vaut 7 000 F. TTC chez CITROËN FELIX FAURE" (This Télécarte is worth 7,000 F. including tax at CITROËN FELIX FAURE) is printed in black and red, accompanied by the handwritten inscription "moi j’♥…" (I love…). A white Citroën logo is placed on the left, below the gold chip. At the bottom left, "TELECARTE 50" indicates a capacity of 50 units.

The gold contact chip, standard for French phone cards of the era, is clearly visible at the top left. The card's surface appears smooth, with a satin finish. The printing is crisp, with no apparent defects on the visible area, and the colors are vibrant. No chips, major scratches, or creases are observable on the photographed side.

The graphics and typographic choices clearly evoke a 1990s production, with an advertising aesthetic characteristic of that decade. The presence of the face value in French francs confirms the age of this phone card.

The inscriptions are perfectly legible. No other patterns or markings appear on this side, apart from the discreet mention "* voir au dos" (see reverse) at the bottom right, partially visible.

This card is a representative piece of both telecommunications history and French automotive advertising, combining the world of the phone card and Citroën iconography on a single medium.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The visible side shows no major defects; minimal signs of use, if any.

Did you know? Chip-based phone cards were introduced in France in the early 1980s and became emblematic of the 1990s before being gradually replaced by mobile phones. Promotional editions, like this one produced for Citroën, were often distributed during commercial operations or at dealerships and are now sought after for their historical and advertising value.
