Vintage Pathé Marconi silver 80s retro portable TV radio cassette player
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
This item combines a portable color television, a three-band radio (MF/MA), and a cassette player, all integrated into a rectangular silver-finish casing typical of 1980s electronic design. On the front, the CRT screen occupies the left side, framed by a wide bezel. To the right of the screen, a control panel displays the inscription "TELEVISEUR COULEUR RADIO-CASSETTE 3 GAMMES MF/MA PORTABLE" (COLOR TELEVISION 3-BAND MF/MA PORTABLE RADIO-CASSETTE), as well as the reference "TRK 320 V". Six selection buttons are horizontally aligned beneath this inscription, accompanied by colored indicator lights. The brand "PATHÉ MARCONI" is clearly visible below the buttons, reinforcing the authenticity of this vintage electronic device.
The upper right part features the top-loading cassette player compartment, with a row of silver mechanical keys typical of decks from that period. Directly below, the radio panel displays a large graduated frequency window (MF, FM, AM), and sliders for volume, tone, and TV/Radio/Music selection. A rotary knob on the front allows for station tuning, while a built-in microphone is indicated by the inscription "MICROPHONE".
The silver-colored casing with black details presents an alternation of smooth surfaces and ventilation grilles, visible mainly on the top. The whole offers a robust and functional appearance, characteristic of portable audio/video devices from the late 20th century. No accessories or cables are visible in the photo.
The front shows slight signs of wear consistent with previous use, including some discreet marks and an original patina on contact areas. No apparent chips or cracks are visible on the main elements (screen, buttons, radio front), which indicates proper preservation for a device of this generation.
