This lot consists of several blocks of 4 French postage stamps visible in the photo, mainly from the 1920s period. The stamps shown are from the "Semeuse" series and commemorative series, including the "American Legion September 1927", as well as surcharged issues such as "Pasteur", "Caisse d'Amortissement" (Amortization Fund), and "Guerre 40c+10c" (War 40c+10c). All stamps displayed are mounted on a white sheet, in a horizontal presentation.

Several blocks of 4 identical stamps are visible side by side, some accompanied by printed margins with dates or inscriptions (e.g., "27.9.29", "18.8.28"). The colors vary between brownish-orange, red, purple, blue, green, and ultramarine, typical of French issues from this era. The main illustrations include the famous Semeuse, the portrait of Pasteur, as well as historical allegories and surcharge mentions.

The "American Legion September 1927" blocks (red and blue) feature detailed motifs with figures and capital letter inscriptions. Surcharged stamps clearly show the surcharge mention (e.g., "+50c", "+25c", "+10c"), printed in black or red on a colored background. The "Semeuse" specimens are recognizable by the female figure sowing against the wind, typical of the Art Nouveau style of the French postal service in the early 20th century.
